# Getting help and contacting the Relay support team

> Export diagnostic logs, copy summaries, and contact support when you need help.

If something is not working as expected in Relay, start with the troubleshooting guidance below and the diagnostic tools built into the app.

## Export logs

1. Choose `Help > Export Logs...`.
2. Save the archive.
3. Share it with support if requested.

You can also find log tools in `Relay > Settings > Help`.

## Copy a diagnostic summary

Open `Relay > Settings > Help` and click `Copy Diagnostic Summary` to get a quick text snapshot of current state.

## Common troubleshooting tips

* Quit and reopen Relay
* Check permissions in `Relay > Settings > Access`
* Refresh your license
* Check for updates
* Confirm the network path to the connected device or app
