Using Live Mode

Live Mode is designed for operating a dashboard during a service, show, or event.

Turn Live Mode On or Off

Choose View > Live Mode or press Command+L.

What Changes in Live Mode

  • Editing controls are reduced so the dashboard is harder to change accidentally.
  • Live modules can start updating.
  • Time, SPL Meter, Live Transcription, Button, and supported interactive modules can still be used.
  • Webpage modules can allow interaction in Live Mode if enabled in that module's settings.
  1. Build and test the dashboard in Canvas View.
  2. Confirm integrations are connected.
  3. Enter Live Mode before the event starts.
  4. Exit Live Mode when you need to edit layout or module settings.

Troubleshooting

If a live module is not updating, confirm Live Mode is enabled and the required Mac permissions or device connections are available.
