  2. Go to External Connections.
  3. Select Planning Center.

ProPresenter connection is only available to Relay Pro Subscribers

Setting Up ProPresenter

Relay can connect to ProPresenter to display slide status and trigger ProPresenter actions.

Before You Start

In ProPresenter, enable the network/remote control features required for API access. Note the host/IP address, port, and password or token if one is used.

Add a ProPresenter Connection

  1. Open Relay > Settings.
  2. Go to External Connections.
  3. Select ProPresenter.
  4. Click Add Profile.
  5. Enter a connection name, host/IP, port, optional password/token, and polling interval.
  6. Save the profile.
  7. Use the test/status indicator to confirm Relay can connect.

Discovery

Relay can scan the local network for ProPresenter instances using Bonjour. If nothing appears, confirm ProPresenter network control is enabled and macOS Local Network permission is allowed for Relay.

Troubleshooting

If Relay cannot connect:

  • Confirm the host/IP and port match ProPresenter.
  • Confirm the password/token is correct.
  • Make sure both apps are on the same network.
  • Allow Relay in macOS Local Network settings.

Using ProPresenter Modules

The ProPresenter module shows live ProPresenter status on your dashboard.

Add a ProPresenter Module

  1. Add or select a tile.
  2. Add the ProPresenter module.
  3. Open the module settings in the inspector.
  4. Choose a saved ProPresenter connection profile.

Display Modes

Depending on configuration, the module can show:

  • Current and next slide
  • Current slide only
  • Next slide only
  • Presentation status
  • Timer or message data
  • Slide text or thumbnails
  • Presentation name, group name, arrangement name, and slide numbers

ProPresenter Actions in Automation View

Automation View includes a ProPresenter action node. Use it to trigger a ProPresenter API path, such as advancing to the next slide, when a Relay trigger fires.

Troubleshooting

If the module says no profile is selected, choose a connection profile in the module settings.

If slide information is blank, confirm ProPresenter has an active presentation and that the selected display mode matches the data you expect.
