# Action & Destination Nodes

> Nodes that execute tasks, control software, and communicate with external hardware.

Actions are the endpoints of your automation graphs. They receive signals from triggers and execute commands.

## System & LAN Notifications

Keep your team informed.

* **Setup:** Add the node and define the message text.
* **Features:** The **System Notification** action displays a standard macOS banner. The **LAN Notification** action broadcasts an alert to other Relay instances connected on your local network, displaying it directly over their dashboard.

## HTTP Request

Integrate with almost any web service.

* **Setup:** Define the URL, HTTP Method (GET, POST, PUT, etc.), Headers, and Body content.
* **Features:** Triggers web endpoints or APIs. Useful for custom webhooks, triggering IFTTT/Zapier flows, or controlling smart home devices.

## ProPresenter Action

Control your presentation software remotely.

* **Setup:** Link the node to your configured ProPresenter instance.
* **Features:** Trigger specific slides, clear layers (audio, video, props), or start/stop timers without leaving Relay.

## Protocol Sends

Communicate with standard show control protocols.

* **OSC Send:** Transmits an Open Sound Control message to a specific IP and port. Define the address path and arguments (float, integer, string).
* **MIDI Send:** Sends a MIDI Note On/Off or Control Change message to a connected MIDI destination.

## Console & Wireless Actions

Control your hardware directly.

* **Setup:** Select a configured audio console or wireless receiver from your External Devices list.
* **Features:** Send specific commands like muting a wireless channel, recalling a console snapshot, or adjusting an input gain.

## Vista Destination \[BETA]

Trigger your lighting console.

* **Setup:** Connect to a supported Vista lighting system.
* **Features:** Export or trigger Vista workflows directly from Relay.
