# Relay Terms & Conditions

> The terms that govern your use of Relay, including subscriptions, live-event use and liability.

**Last updated: October 2026**

These terms are between you and David Bullard, doing business as OnDeck Apps, a sole proprietorship (P.O. Box 743, Lowell, AR 72745). By using Relay you agree to them. Questions: `support@ondeckapps.com`.

## Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum legal age in your country.

## The service

Relay is a modular dashboard app for macOS. Features may change over time. Direct-download builds update automatically through Sparkle. Beta builds may be unstable and carry no warranty.

## Accounts and acceptable use

Some features need an account or subscription. You are responsible for your account's security and all activity under it. Do not abuse our servers, share or resell license keys, or circumvent licensing or rate limits. We may suspend access for misuse.

## Subscriptions

Subscriptions auto-renew and payment is charged at purchase. App Store subscriptions are billed by Apple and must be cancelled at least 24 hours before the billing period ends. Direct purchases are billed by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record. We will give notice of price changes.

## Refunds

Apple handles refunds for App Store purchases and Lemon Squeezy for direct purchases. OnDeck Apps issues refunds only where required by law.

## License

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Relay for personal or business use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, resell or reverse engineer Relay. App Store purchases are also subject to Apple's standard EULA.

## Your data

You own the data you put into Relay. We may process it to operate and improve Relay as described in the [Privacy Policy](/relay/privacy-policy). We do not sell personal data.

## Live event and safety use

Relay can control audio, lighting, video and other equipment during live events. You are responsible for testing every dashboard, automation and device connection before you rely on it, for keeping a manual fallback, and for following the safety rules that apply to your venue and equipment (including limiting sudden loud audio and avoiding rapidly flashing or strobing lights that could affect people with photosensitive conditions). Relay is not a safety system, is not intended for use where failure could cause injury or death, and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

## Recording and transcription

If you use live transcription or any feature that captures audio, you are responsible for giving any notices and obtaining any consents the law requires from the people being recorded or transcribed.

## Local network sharing

Features such as Sync & Mirror and the local browser link share your dashboard content with computers you approve or, if you enable open access, with anyone on the same network. You are responsible for choosing the networks and devices you trust.

## Third-party services and trademarks

We are not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services or for integration issues. Product names such as ProPresenter, Planning Center, Shure, DiGiCo, Behringer, Midas, NDI, Resolume, Philips Hue and Govee are trademarks of their owners. Relay is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

## Disclaimer

Relay is provided "as is" and "as available."

## Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, ONDECK APPS IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING DATA LOSS, AND ONDECK APPS' TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO RELAY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR RELAY IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR US\$100. THIS DOES NOT LIMIT LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW.

## Termination

We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms. You may stop using Relay at any time.

## General

If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between you and OnDeck Apps about Relay, and you may not assign them without our consent. We may update Relay and these terms; continued use means you accept the changes.

## Governing law

Arkansas, USA, with venue in Benton County, Arkansas. Users in the EEA may have additional consumer rights under local law.

Earlier versions of these terms were published at ondeckapps.com/relay-terms-conditions.
