Source nodes inject a value into your automation graph rather than starting a workflow. Connect a source’s output into another node — an action, a Variable, or a Condition — anywhere that node needs a piece of data rather than just a signal to fire.

Current Time

Injects the current system time as a data value.
  • Setup: Drop the node into your flow and choose a format: HH:mm:ss, HH:mm, seconds since midnight, or a Unix timestamp.
  • Features: Feed a live clock value into an HTTP Request, a text module variable, or anywhere else a timestamp is useful.

Static Label

Injects a fixed piece of text you define yourself.
  • Setup: Add the node and enter either a single value, or a list of labels to cycle or choose from.
  • Features: Useful as a placeholder value while building a graph, or as a constant label you want to reuse in multiple places without retyping it.

Roster

Injects a value from a Relay Roster.
  • Setup: Add the node and choose either a single column value or a whole column.
  • Features: Pull roster data into an automation without needing Planning Center — useful for teams running fully offline rosters.

Console Import

Injects channel names imported from a connected audio console.
  • Setup: Select a console device, then choose a single channel or all channels.
  • Features: Keeps automation and downstream displays in sync with the actual channel names configured on the console, rather than names typed manually into Relay.

Wireless Import

Injects channel names imported from a connected Shure or Sennheiser wireless system.
  • Setup: Select a wireless device brand, then choose a single channel or all channels.
  • Features: Same idea as Console Import, but for wireless channel names — handy for keeping labels consistent between the receiver’s own channel naming and what Relay displays or sends elsewhere.
